About Us
Who We Are
Established in 2013, the Rhode Island Business Coalition (RIBC) is a 501(c)(6) coalition of diverse business organizations and industry associations that represents more than 6,280 businesses that employ over 230,000 people within 50 industries in Rhode Island. The Rhode Island Business Coalition’s mission is to identify and support state and local public policies that improve Rhode Island’s economic competitiveness and overall business climate.
RIBC acts as a lead organizer on behalf of the members of the Coalition to address specific legislative and administrative positions and does not represent individual members nor will lobby on their behalf. Individual testimony is offered to each Coalition member to decide. The Coalition is the lead group that represents employer interests within the state.
